Robyn Rihanna Rihanna is the Barbadian Songwriter and Singer whose hit songs include Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. Being a young and successful singer-songwriter she is already one of the top selling performers. Born in Barbados her family listened to reggae music and began singing while she was young. Due to the chaos that surrounded her family as well as the disputes her parents had with each other, she decided to take up music. Then she realized that she wanted to make a profession of a performer. While in high school when she started forming group and performed to be a part of Evan Rodgers. Evan Rodgers was amazed at her abilities. The producer requested that the teenager be relocated to New York and pursue a singing career full-time. Rihanna happily accepted. The album she released her debut album soon launched and Rihanna became a hit with the public within a short time. She was a favorite amongst the youth for her peppy dance music, which was a hit. This led to Rihanna pursuing directing. Being a gifted young lady, Rihanna has been hailed as a teen idol. Rihanna uses her fame to the fullest extent her fame and supports numerous charitable causes.
