Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980 and is a singer/actress from the USA. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier - a nurse and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American singer and actress. She has Polish (mother's) and German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen realized her potential in the world of entertainment at a young age. When she was in 1992, the actress went to her first audition and won the role of Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell, who was 13 when her mother signed to become an agent was cast on ads on newspapers and TV. She also started taking private acting classes at that time. Bell was credited as a character in the movie Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was part of music and drama clubs. She was the star as Dorothy in her high school's play The Wizard of Oz. Bell went on to study musical theatre at the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. In 2001, Bell quit her university in order to perform the part in the role of Becky on Tom Sawyer. That same year, she made her first credited debut as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and she was only seen in the credit sequence. Bell was in Broadway on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival that featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
