Awkwafina has been described as an American actor and musician who began her career with smart raps that addressed sexuality and racial identities with a boldly comic perspective. She then expanded to Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. She was born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the daughter of Chinese immigrants as well as Koreans.
